American Idol Top 24, Round 1

American Idol season 15 has just made its debut on FOX a few short weeks ago and we already have our official top 24, well as of last night it was the top 24 until the first major elimination happened after the first group of 12 performed.  Wednesday night 12 of the 24 took to the stage to perform a song of their choice, and last night, Thursday night  the 12 artists were joined on the stage by six former Idols.
Even though FOX resorted to searching for talent on backstage.com for Idol's farewell season I must say they did a pretty good job at finding some pretty good singers this year and surprisingly enough, I actually have some favorites this year (I didn't even bother watching the farce that was American Idol last year.)  I was relieved to see Thomas Stringfellow from Bentonville, AR and Mackenzie Bourg from Lafayette, LA make it through the first major elimination of the year. Seven performers made it through last night and out of the seven, two of my absolute favorites are safe.  Next week we will see another five out of twelve eliminated and of course I'm hoping that Shelbie Z from Sumiton, AL, Trent Harmon from Amory, MS  and Dalton Rapattoni from Dallas, TX survive the next elimination.  Only time will tell.  Tweet to us at IAmAuthorized and let us know who your favorites are.
